    1. Love A Rainy Night, just because I love that song still and I think it goes with the with the title

  1. Beautiful Liar by Beyonce and Shakira. It’s a song about two women finding out that they’re both dating the same man. Seems kind of fitting, doesn’t it.

    1. “You’re somebody else” by Flora Cash.
I think it is a song that does a good job of highlighting someone you think you know and recognizing a change in them that all of a sudden makes you question if you really knew them at all.

  2. Imagination (Is A Powerful Deceiver) by Elvis Costello – I feel this song encompasses the theme and feel of the book and it would be something Thursday listens to frequently when her husband is with the other wives.

  3. I believe in a thing called love by the darkness because she clearly had to believe in love to go through all that!

    1. “you should know where i’m coming from@ – banks

Because of the line…”I may be too crazy to love”

  4. I Feel Like I’m Drowning by Two Feet. It’s absolutely perfect for The Wives!! Listen to the lyrics and you’ll see how much it can connect

  5. The Other Woman by Lana Del Rey! The song is about being the other woman and that is essentially what she is without even realizing it. The song speaks about how she basically has to be perfect and better than her rivals. And how she’s always so lonely waiting for him to get home. There’s so much more just listen to the song it’s perfect for her

    1. You Oughta Know by Alanis Morrisette because because it’s totally angsty which just fits with the overall vibe of The Wives. Awesome book and song. Thanks

  6. I’m definitely adding “I will survive” by Gloria Gaynor because it’s the perfect song for a thriller book just based on the title!!

  7. You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette – it captures the rage of not being The One or the only one, and she made sure to remind him of the mess he left when he went away

  8. “The Chain” by Fleetwod Mac. The spot-on lyrics about complicated love (in a minor key, no less), mirror the complexity of the relationships in “The Wives.” Also, thanks to TikTok, Fleetwood Mac is having A Moment right now, and their music feels fresh all over again.

  9. Maybe It‘s Okay by We Are Messengers….because the first step is to recognize that we are not okay!! And that‘s okay! Loved the book!!

  10. “Who Are You” by the Who because it sounds like the book is a dive into who the other wives are , who the husband is and who our narrator is.

  11. I have to agree with the above suggestion of “The Chain” by Fleetwod Mac. I’d like to add that The Highwomen’s version is amazing, so I’d choose that one.

  12. “Little Lies” by Fleetwood Mac. Because I imagine the song is quite fitting for someone sharing a husband. But you want to pretend for a little while he loves only you. You know better but whatever gets you through.

  13. Illicit Affairs by Taylor Swift I think goes well with the sadness of what Seth is doing to both Regina and Thursday but also No Body, No Crime by Taylor Swift as well because of that ending!

  14. Red Football by Sinead O’Connor. It’s an empowerment song about leaving an abusive situation. I do feel like it fits here because it’s about enough is enough.

  15. I feel like Coping by Rosie Darling could work…kind of. Anyways, loved ‘The Wives’!!! Favorite Thriller of all time!

    1. The reason why is because it talks about how she did crazy things to be with the person she loved. Also, I feel like the line “I’m the best at Getting Disappointed by my expectations” really works.

  16. It Wasn’t Me by Shaggy because he denies that he did anything wrong although he was caught numerous times.

  17. Rumor Has It by Adele, is the song that jumps at me. So many wives, so many lies but you’ll always be the one he comes home to. It’s crazy!

  18. “Love Song” Sara Barellis. She wrote this song in protest to being asked by her record label to collaberate on songs, which she hated.

  19. Every Breath You Take by The Police
    Criminal by Fiona Apple
    Cry Baby by Janis Joplin
    I Hope by Gabby Barrett
    Crazy in Love by Beyonce

    1. I forgot to add the reason why for the songs I chose. I think all the songs fit Thursday at different points in the book.

  20. “Bad Medicine” by Bon Jovi

Perfect for Thursday as she is borderline obsessed with her husband and cannot shake it.

  21. Beyonce’s iconic ‘To the Left’ seems all too appropriate
Also Carrie Underwood ‘Before He Cheats’
    Shaggy’s “Wasn’t Me”
